Chapter History

Alpha Xi Delta has been an active member of Elon University’s Greek campus since our founding in 1993. We are a group of diverse, intelligent, and outgoing young women who have come together to share our common values: education, service, integrity and leadership.

As of June of 2021, Alpha Xi Delta is beginning the Kindly Hearts Campaign, a year-long campaign focused on service and fundraising to support our communities in some of the areas most directly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Each Alpha Xi Delta chapter has the opportunity to use our time, talents, and treasures to serve our local communities that are in need by creating project plans within one or more of the following areas of focus: supporting students, food insecurity, and basic needs shortages. The Theta Nu chapter could not be more excited to continue our focus on service through this new campaign. 

Sisters in the Theta Nu Chapter are also well known around Elon’s campus. Through the years, we have had sisters in many leadership positions in student media, sports, service, religious, performance and academic organizations. We recently celebrated our 28th Anniversary on campus and we are looking forward to many more of the memories and history our chapter will create.
