Courtney Close

President

Hi everyone! My name is Courtney and I'm from Washington, D.C. I'm majoring in Strategic Communications and minoring in Environmental Studies. Last fall, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Australia which was an incredible experience that helped me become the independent and driven person I am today. At Elon, I regularly volunteer for the It Takes a Village Project, I have participated in Elonthon every year and I am a part of the PRSSA club. I love Alpha Xi Delta because it provides an outlet for women to be themselves and to be unconditionally loved for that. AXiD is a unique sorority on Elon's campus as we are a diverse, highly involved group with a strong love for each member. I am honored to help lead this organization to be the best it can be with seven other amazing women by my side!

Reilly Welsh

Hi! My name is Reilly Welsh. I am a junior here at Elon, originally from Pittsburgh, PA. I am a Strategic Communications major with a minor in Multimedia Authoring. I have been involved in various organizations throughout my time at Elon. Currently, in addition to serving as VP of Chapter Life, I am an Account Executive for Live Oak Communications and volunteer with Elonthon. Being a part of Alpha Xi Delta has introduced me to women who are not only the most incredible friends, but also the greatest inspirations to pursue my passions and be the best I can possibly be. I am so excited to help lead this special group of women into our chapter’s future.

Giuli Adams

VP of Programs

Hi my name’s Giuli! I’m from Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania. I’m a Marketing major with a minor in Strategic Communications. Throughout my time at Elon, I have been involved in various organizations. I have participated in ElonThon twice and currently serve as Elon’s Campus Manager for South by Sea. I’ve also been fortunate enough to study abroad twice and both experiences have shaped me and the woman I am today. I love AXiD because everyone in the organization truly pushes me to be the best version of myself. This sorority has become my home away from home and I’m forever grateful for that. It’s an honor to serve on the Executive Board, and I plan on making my sorority proud.

Julia Field

PHC Delegate

Hey there! I'm Julia Field, and I am a junior here at Elon. I spent the majority of my childhood in Bettendorf, Iowa, where my parents currently reside. My major is Elementary Education with minors in Spanish and Communications. Outside of Alpha Xi, I serve as a Class of 2020 Senator and the Associate Vice President of Programming for the Student Government Association, and I am also an Elon Teaching Fellow. I love Alpha Xi Delta for too many reasons to count. Perhaps the most important thing AXiD has given is the strong women I am fortunate enough to call sisters, friends, and mentors. They push me to be the best and most authentic version of myself, and they inspire me to realize my potential everyday.
